Impact Beyond School Walls International (iBSW) is a youth development nonprofit organization born out of a vision to bridge the gap between learning and real-life impact.

iBSW began in 2022 as a simple but persistent idea: to empower young people to embrace self-worth, develop essential life skills, and grow into leaders capable of making meaningful contributions to their communities. This vision emerged from observing that many young people leave school educated but not adequately prepared—emotionally, mentally, or directionally—for the realities of life. During the prolonged nationwide academic strike in Nigeria in 2022, many undergraduates and school leavers were left without opportunities for purposeful engagement, skill development, or mentorship. This inspired the creation of iBSW as a platform for intentional youth engagement.

Since our registration as a nonprofit organization in 2023, we have focused on expanding access to mentorship, skills training, and community engagement opportunities for children, school-aged youth, graduates, and young people from diverse backgrounds. iBSW delivers its programs in collaboration with strategic partners who share our commitment to empowering young minds. Mindswill Network, our official partner, supports our capacity development, mentorship, and community initiatives, helping us expand our reach and impact.
